Description |
(18th Century Replica) Replica of 1742 British Hanger, one of the most common sidearms in Britain and the British colonies for most of the 18th Century. Commonly used in the French and Indian/Seven Years War and the Revolutionary War. There is a very high likelihood that Andrew Lewis owned a sword like this one. Metal sword is colored silver with a gold, spyral handle hilt with a handguard and typical heartshaped crossguard. Sword case is black leather with a gold metal. There's a gold button-like object on the sword case to attach sword to a baldric. Previously used for living history events. |
