Large building dominates center of canvas. Trees, bushes landscape around all in snowy-gray light. Center right utility pole. Lower center two figures. Woman and child? Each with bright spot of red. Through out painting grays, gray-mauves. All creates the atmosphere of a heavy winter day. Loose sumbled brush strokes throughout. Painting has the effect of a sketch in very brushed on paint.
